trust & safety

Real people, working together. Carefully.

A marketplace is only as good as its rules. Ours are built into every step of every job, and they work the same whether you're posting or seeking.

CHF 85

The life of a job, and what protects you at every step.

Follow one bounty from posted to paid. At every station, the rules do the worrying so you don't have to.

Posted

A job only goes live on the map once the poster has a verified way to pay. Every card is checked the moment it's added.

for posters
Your payment method is verified with a tiny hold that's released immediately. Set it up once and every future post is instant.
for seekers
Every pin you see is backed by a real, verified payment method. If it's on the map, the money behind it is real.

Claimed, or matched

There are two kinds of jobs. Express jobs go to the first seeker who claims them, and the job locks to that person on the spot. Matched jobs take applications instead: up to five seekers can apply, and the poster picks. Clear communication between both sides is easy too. The contact button opens your phone's own messaging or the apps you already use, like WhatsApp. We know that's where people actually talk.

for posters
You always see who you're getting, name, photo and rating, before any work begins. On matched jobs you choose from up to five applicants, and you can message them first to find the right fit.
for seekers
Once an Express job is yours, it's yours. Nobody can swoop in. On matched jobs you apply, chat with the poster on the apps you already use, and know exactly where you stand before anything is decided.

Shortly before the start

The payment is secured in advance, reserved rather than taken. If it can't be secured, the job cancels itself and both sides are told immediately.

for posters
You're not charged when you post. The money is only reserved shortly before the job begins, and released in full if the job doesn't happen.
for seekers
By the time you head out the door, the money for your work is already set aside. You never work first and hope later.

The start

Both sides confirm the job has begun, and each side has a 10 minute grace window of their own, not one shared clock. A job can also only be started on location: seekers must be within 200 metres of the job before the app lets them press start.

for posters
If your seeker never shows up, the job cancels automatically and your full payment is released back, with no chasing and no forms. And since starting requires being within 200 metres, nobody can "start" your job from their couch.
for seekers
If the poster doesn't confirm the start, you're not left hanging. The job cancels, and you're automatically compensated for your wasted time with a percentage of the total job price.

The finish

The same fairness, mirrored: the seeker marks the job done and the poster confirms. If either side goes quiet, a structured resolution system weighs what actually happened and settles the outcome fairly for both sides, rather than simply closing the job out.

for posters
You confirm the finish on your side within a short window, which keeps payment moving and the process fair for everyone.
for seekers
If the poster doesn't respond, completion is approved automatically, and either party can still dispute it afterwards. That protection exists for one reason: nobody should ever end up working for free.

Paid

Money moves through Stripe, straight to the seeker's bank account. No cash, no awkward conversations, and every transaction is recorded.

for posters
The full amount you'll pay, payout and fee included, is shown before you post. Every job leaves a clean record in your history.
for seekers
The exact amount you'll receive is shown in the app before you claim, and that is the amount that lands in your bank account. Your earnings history keeps every job on file.

If plans change

Life happens, so cancelling early is simple and free of drama. Cancelling late is different: it costs the person who cancels, and part of that automatically compensates the person they let down.

for posters
If a seeker drops your job at the last minute, you're refunded automatically. If you cancel late on a seeker, they're compensated automatically.
for seekers
Blocked out an evening for a job that gets cancelled last-minute? You receive compensation without asking for it. Your time has a price too.

If something goes wrong

Disagreements get a human, not a chatbot. Open a dispute in the app and a real person reviews it and gets back to you.

for posters
Something not right? Flag it once the job is completed and we'll look into what happened and take the appropriate action.
for seekers
Your side gets heard too, with the job's full record already on file.

And underneath it all.

Real profiles, both ways

Every account is tied to a verified email and a verified payment or payout method. Ratings run in both directions: seekers rate posters, posters rate seekers, and your track record travels with you, visible before anyone commits.

Your card details never touch us

All payment data is handled end-to-end by Stripe, the same payment infrastructure trusted by millions of businesses. Bounty never sees or stores your card number.

Built and hosted in Switzerland

Bounty is made in Switzerland and runs on servers in Zürich. Your data stays close to home, under some of the strictest privacy standards in the world.

Everything on the record

Claims, starts, finishes, payments, cancellations: every step of every job is timestamped and kept in your history. If a question ever comes up, the answer is already written down.

A person you can reach

Short video guides live in the app's help section, and behind them is a team that answers: contact@bounty-labs.com.

Exact timings, fees and compensation amounts are always shown in the app before you post, claim or cancel, so you agree to the specifics, not the summary. This page describes how Bounty works in principle; the app is the source of truth.
